The Wientjens AquaVent allows recovery of the energy present from water vapour in ironer vent, energy that normally goes up the chimney. The AquaVent is generally coupled with an AquaEnergy System so the recovered energy can be used to heat process water.

High capacity, easy placement
The AquaVent has a high capacity, at 4000 m³/hour airflow, it suits almost all laundries and can connect to as many as 4 ironers. The AquaVent can even be placed above the ironer so that no floorspace is needed.
High performance
The AquaVent’s effective insulation means minimal heat losses. Its cleverly designed heat exchanger does not foul with grease and dirt but keeps its performance.

Recovery of expensive energy
Recovering heat from ironer exhaust is the first step. This energy can be used to heat water for the wash process. Close the loop by installing an AquaEnergy System, as water buffer, for flexible use of the reclaimed energy.
80/20 rule
Roughly 70% of energy used by laundries is for drying and ironing, it makes huge sense to reclaim as much of that energy as possible for re-use. Having a store of hot water ready to use means no worries about managing peaks in hot water demand, valuable flexibility.
